You get the incredibly impressive album in Only to Rise from Fronteirs latest collaborative group- Sweet & Lynch and it\’s out today. Fronteirs Records has lately been on a rampage when it comes to releasing albums and they\’ve recently been combining members of various bands into one project to create something special and Only to Rise is no exception. With Sweet & Lynch you have sounds reminiscent of Journey, Bad Company, blues bands, Stryper, Dokken, Def Leppard and more. Originally Michael Sweet was brought in to just sing and help write the album but soon after he decided he wanted to produce the record as well. Why did he decide to take on that responsibility? Who better to make sure the album turns out as close to the original vision than the artist themselves. Sweet recently sat down with The Front Row Report to talk about Sweet & Lynch, how it came to fruition, working with George Lynch as well as whether or not we can expect solo dates this year.
