THE WORLD WILL BURN was formed in 2015 and features Dale Thompson on vocals. Dale is best known as the singer for the band BRIDE, who recorded 14 studio albums, won 2 Dove awards, and toured internationally for over 20 years. After announcing his retirement from BRIDE in 2013, Dale moved to New Zealand and planned on putting his musical career behind him. Soon after his relocation, Dale received some demo songs from Alan Zaring, a musician who had worked with BRIDE on their last album. The long distance collaboration began to grow and TWWB independently released their debut album \”Severity\” in 2016.\\
\”Severity\” was a surprise hit that year. It achieved the #1 position on the Amazon Hot Alternative Metal download chart and maintained it\’s spot at or near the top for 3 months. The album had 1 #1 song and 2 others on in the top 50.
TWWB recently worked with film maker Ryan Pierson and FilmSalad Pictures to produce a video for a song on the album entited \”The More Things Change\”. The obvious challenge was shooting a video with band members on the opposite side of the planet. The challenge was met and the video is gaining international attention.
