Modern metal trailblazers SHATTERED SUN are kicking off 2016 with a tour of their home-state and surrounding cities, joined by Victory Records label mates DARKNESS DIVIDED. Dubbed the “Texas Ragers Tour,” the run will begin in Houston, TX on February 25th and will hit seven Texas cities, two New Mexico cities, and Shreveport, LA, coming to a close on March 6th in Ft. “This tour has been in the making since we first signed to Victory Records,” states SHATTERED SUN vocalist Marcos Leal. “Now we are excited to announce we will be hitting the road with our label mates and South Texas neighbors DARKNESS DIVIDED! We will be destroying every major market in Texas, New Mexico and stopping in Louisiana, so come out and slam some beers with us in the pit!”
SHATTERED SUN’s debut album Hope Within Hatred debuted at #1 on the CMJ Loud Rock charts, as well as within the Top 20 on the iTunes Metal chart and Top 50 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Check out the band’s recently released live-action video “Waging War.”
DARKNESS DIVIDED are marking their return to the place they are most at home, on the road. The band recently completed work on their sophomore follow up to 2014’s Written In Blood. The self-titled new album will be coming in early 2016, but fans can get a sneak preview as the band will perform new tracks for the very first time ever on the ‘Texas Ragers Tour.’
