Review: Rob Zombie- The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser

After hearing about a new album for awhile, Rob Zombie fans finally have what they’ve been clamoring for in The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser.

That’s right, when it comes to Rob Zombie, you know you’re going to get a funky, groovy, fucked up album in every way and that’s exactly what this record is- it’s the most fucked up record Zombie has put together yet- and that’s a good thing.

If you wondered what this record sounds like, read the album title and that’s exactly what this album sounds like. Sitting at just over 30 minutes in its entirety, The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser is a quick listen with only one song clocking in at over three minutes.

The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser is loaded with anthems and songs that are sure to translate well to the live show. “Satanic Cyanide! The Killer Rocks On” and “Well, Everybody’s Fucking in a UFO” are infectious and dark, finding a way to crawl inside your cerebral cortex, and staying there.

“The Hideous Exhibitions of a Dedicated Gore Whore” keeps the party going while “In the Age of the Consecrated Vampire We All Get High” is a live anthem that you won’t soon forget. As a whole, this is exactly what Rob Zombie is all about, keeping it going with “Get Your Boots On! That’s the End of Rock and Roll.”

In the end, this is a Rob Zombie album through and through. Zombie, along with Ginger Fish, John 5 and Piggy D know exactly how to write a record that will make you dance, groove, mosh, headbang and get crazy. The wait was well worth it and one thing is for sure- Rob Zombie is back with a dark, sinister, funky party that you’re all invited to.
