“I’ve been listening to Jaymes since we first started touring,” says PVRIS vocalist Lynn Gunn. “I’d always listen to his EP on long night drives, so to hear him on our track is pretty surreal. I love the new take that he and Jeremy from Marian Hill brought to the track.”

“The intensity of Lynn\’s chorus vocal pushed me to discover a new groove (within my production world at least) for the drop, which is the ideal thing I always want to happen with a remix,” says Marian Hill’s Jeremy Lloyd. “By listening to the a cappella and responding to it, I can find myself somewhere new.”

Said Young, “Thanks PVRIS and Marian Hill for this fun collab! I always love doing something different with artists I’ve never worked with before.”

The original version of “Same Soul” appears on PVRIS’ critically acclaimed new album, ‘All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell,’ which hit No. 5 on Billboard’s Rock Chart and No. 1 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists Chart. NME called the album “catchy as hell,” Rolling Stone praised their “heady, gloomy textures and storming beats,” Q Magazine said they “connect the dots between The Cure, Chvrches and Florence + The Machine,” Billboard said “it’s a stunner” and placed it at No. 8 on their list of the 25 Best Rock Albums of 2017 and theHuffington Post wrote, “PVRIS’ stanzas paint a more realistic portrait of a young woman trying to make sense of the world than do the dolled-up or dumbed-down rhymes often found on Top-40 radio.”

The trio (rounded out by guitarist/keyboardist Alex Babinski and bassist/keyboardist Brian MacDonald), who were the face of Spotify’s “New Noise” playlist, are wrapping up a sold-out North American headline tour, which saw them donate a portion of every ticket sold to The Ally Coalition in support of LGBTQ equality.

Next up comes tours in Asia and Australia and performances at the Aerodrome Festival in Prague, Rock AM Ring in Germany, Rock Werchter in Belgium and the Panorama Festival in New York City, where they’ll share the stage with Janet JacksonSZACardi B and St. Vincent, among others.

PVRIS has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, were spotlighted on Last Call with Carson Daly, performed at the MTV Woodies, have toured arenas with the likes of Muse and Fall Out Boy, have amassed over 122 million Spotify streams and close to 33 million YouTube views to date and played to packed-house crowds around the world.
