Promethee

\"Promethee\"With a style that merges Born Of Osiris with Job For A Cowboy and Darkest Hour, you may not have heard of Swiss band Promethee, but you could be about to discover more.

Since forming in 2008, the band have already achieved slots alongside the likes of HIM, Rammstein, The Prodigy and The Dillinger Escape Plan amongst others, as well as securing praise for their debut EP throughout Europe.

Releasing their debut album Nothing Happens. Nobody Comes. Nobody Goes in 2012, Promethee continued their ascent, gaining coverage across the UK in major music magazines and touring the European festival circuit on lineups including Loudfest 2013, and the Aries Festival. Now working at what should be considered a solid ‘European Level’, Promethee have set their sights on world domination, and have released their latest single, “Life/Less” as a video (check it out below).

Devastatingly heavy from the off, Promethee lay everything out on the table for everyone to see, demonstrating their understanding of their genre whilst at the same time, bending the rules of convention to make it their own. Deep and powerful, Life/Less offers a brief insight into the power that can be found on Nothing Happens. Nobody Comes. Nobody Goes, drawing on their various influences to produce a sound that’s raw, in your face, and firmly rooted in live performance.

With a style that reaches beyond the normal conventions of post-hardcore, Promethee are rewriting the rule book and setting out to broaden their horizons further – people of the US, prepare yourselves for the onslaught.
