Wrongdoers couldn’t be more of an ironic album title. In all reality, this record couldn’t be more of a right move for the veteran metallers.
Leading up to the release, Norma Jean said to expect
Wrongdoers to sound like Norma Jean of old. Let’s be honest, though, how many times have bands said the same thing and what we got was something that couldn’t be further from the truth?
This time, however, it’s true. Norma Jean have put out one hell of a record that sounds a hell of a lot like some of their older material. Now don’t get me wrong, it’s not
exactly like classic Norma Jean. There’s some new members in the band and anytime that happens there’s gonna be an element of new sound and we get some of that too.
However, if you’re an old-school Norma Jean fan who wasn’t big on their previous album or two, do yourself a favor and check out
Wrongdoers.
