Marilyn Manson set to return to Egyptian Room this weekend

Legendary shock rocker Marilyn Manson is set to make his return to Indy\’s Egyptian Room At Old National Centre this weekend on 5/16. Fresh off the heels of his latest studio record- The Pale Emperor,  Manson has been touring nonstop this year in support of the record. The Pale Emperor, Manson\’s ninth studio record and sees him taking a different approach musically from his \”return\” album- Born Villain. This record shows more of Manson\’s artistic side with more of a blues-oriented foundation as opposed to the industrial sound fans have been accustomed to while The Pale Emperor is more reminiscent of the Mechanical Animals era of Manson\’s career. He started things by previewing a few tracks from the record in \”Deep Six\” and \”Third Day Of A Seven Day Binge,\” which got fans very excited and intrigued from the very beginning. Manson has also been making the rounds this year, playing almost every major city in the U.S. as well as many of the major festivals- Carolina Rebellion, Welcome to Rockville and Rock On The Range- which takes place in his home state of Ohio. The Hell Not Hallelujah Tour kicked off in January and will run through the rest of the spring. After this, Manson continues touring before hitting the road for another big tour in the late summer with Smashing Pumpkins, which will take up most of August. Manson has always toured with a small bill and this tour is no exception with direct support coming from Knee High Fox. The show starts at 9 p.m. on Saturday with the doors not long before that. There are still some tickets available at Live Nation so make sure you get in and get your tickets now for one of the most theatrical and creative concerts you\’ll see this year.
