Live: Queensryche and Armored Saint in Baltimore

The almighty Queensryche made a stop in Baltimore recently bringing along Armored Saint and Midnight Eternal. Midnight Eternal opened the show and while I was unfamiliar with this kick ass female fronted band, everyone packed the venue to make sure they were there to see them and they did not let a single person down. After they got the crowd good and fired up, Armored Saint was up next. This was my first time seeing them live and it was pretty amazing. They were consistent throughout the entire set musically and when it came to their energy they were off the charts. I was extremely blown away by their performance and now have them on my list of bands to see again for sure. Finally there was Queensryche. I was so excited about this show because it\’s my first time seeing them in a venue. First of all the stage set up alone was amazing, the two giant screens they had set up on either side playing videos that went with songs or lyrics all night was really cool because it also seconded as backlighting which gave a really interesting vibe to the show. Plus not many bands do that and it was pretty unique and fun to see the different logos and such. Also the drum riser was in between and since Scott Rockenfield has a crazy badass kit it was really cool looking. Moving along it was amazing to hear Todd La Torre live and hear him sing Best I Can and Operation: Mindcrime live. But hands down nothing will touch how perfect Silent Lucidity sounded and the goosebumps it gave me. Overall this is a concert worth spending the money on and going to. It doesn\’t disappoint and even if you don\’t listen to all three bands religiously it\’s a fun show all the way around. If it comes to your city and you can go, definitely try to catch it. -Tera Ford \"\" \"\"
