Butcher Babies announce new album, ‘Goliath’ for July

Butcher Babies have announced a July 9 date for the release of their latest album, Goliath, slated for release on Century Media Records.

Based out of L.A. and comprised of frontwomen Carla Harvey and Heidi Shephard, guitarist Henry Flury, bassist Jason Klein and drummer Chris Warner, recently capped off a tour with Marilyn Manson in February and went straight to the studio where they worked with producer Josh Wilbur [Gojira, Lamb of God, Hatebreed].

“Working with Josh Wilbur was an incredible experience because he helped us explore ourselves as musicians and further develop the unique sound that is the BUTCHER BABIES,” says the band of their recording experience. “Being a debut album, this has been in the works since we were young, and we are so proud to have created a collaboration of all our personal influences into one complete sound.”

Butcher Babies will celebrate the album’s release as part of this summer’s Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, where they will be a mainstay on the Jagermeister stage and spend the summer alongside heavyweights including Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch, Machine Head, Mastodon and Amon Amarth. The tour kicks off June 29 at the San Manuel Amphitheatre in San Bernardino, CA and runs through August 4 in Dallas, TX – see complete itinerary below.
