Austin Meade Is Checking In to \”Red Roof Estates\”

Austin Meade, a nimble guitar hero and masterful lyricist who meshes humor with a whole lotta heart in his riff-driven compositions, is bringing disco back. No, really! The singer/guitarist has shared the video for \”Red Roof Estates\” and it\’s full of his signature, tongue-in-cheek charm. It\’s the second in Meade\’s planned trilogy of song and video releases, and he is pleased with how the track took on a decidedly disco feel. Watch the video here. \”\’Red Roof Estates\’ is a look further into the future with some of the same characters from \’Varsity Type,\’\” he says, referencing the song and video drop from earlier this month. \”It\’s disco time, baby. I\’ve always wanted to write a disco rocker and I think we finally did it. I\’m a big fan of the solo that Willie [TK] threw in here. It was a one-take wonder.\” As mentioned, Meade kicked off the endless summer with the video for \”Varsity Type.\” The tongue-in-cheek clip featured a poolside party and plenty of red Solo cups. Watch it here. Meade will share news on the follow up to his Snakefarm debut Black Sheep, which is nearing 60 million streamsshortly. The third video in the series is coming soon, as well. Meade is also on tour, since he basically lives on the road. Dates are below. Get tickets here.
