A Pale Horse Named Death: Lay My Soul to Waste review

Lay My Soul to Waste coverA Pale Horse Named Death has quite the experience when it comes to metal music. Founded in 2011 by Sal Abruscato, former drummer and co-founder of Type O Negative. Other band members have also played for Type O Negative, Danzig, and Life of Agony.

With that metal experience, A Pale Horse Named Death recently released their sophomore album – Lay My Soul To Rest. The album is very dark and has a gothic metal sound similar to Type O Negative.

The band can also be compared to Alice in Chains, with its dark lyrics and brooding vocals from Sal Abruscato.

Lay My Soul To Rest is one of the better metal album that has come out this year. I see great things ahead for A Pale Horse Named Death.

Rating: 10/10
